Description

Mockett's Wood is the only local untouched woodland nearby so worth a visit if you're in St. Peter's village. Quiet and linking to farmers' fields and nearby cemetery. Noisiest residents are kauluskaija which can be seen all year round, but easiest to spot in the bare brances of Autumn/Winter. Usual woodland species present, notably käpytikka and pähkinänakkeli.
