Gravel pits, wader flash and winter floodplain of the River Avon. Good for wildfowl and waders.
Waders seen at Lower Moor include tylli, avosetti,, occasional liro, metsäviklo, suosirri, ristisorsa, meriharakka, silkkihaikara and silkkikerttunen. In 2009, a räyskä here, and again in June 2023.
Lower Moor is between Pershore and Evesham off the A44 road. From M5 exit at junction 7. Small car park at south end of Bridge street is not easy to access. Better to park in the village and walk south. Train station Pershore, 2 miles away. No bus route in the village. River Avon is navigable.
