Description

Göründü Marshes are located in the southern part of Lake Van. There are many bird species to observe in this wetland. pikkujoutsen, Lapasorsa, flamingo, ristisorsa, mustakaulauikku, punasotka are the abundant species, especially in winter.

Access

It is easy to visit Göründü Marshes. There is a main road which passes near the marshes, between Van center and Tatvan center. This road is the only way to go there. Click on a P in the map for directions or coordinates.
