Description
The Ägelsee (or Egelsee) is located at 339 meters above sea level in Zeiningen in the canton of Aargau. The small lake was formed during the retreat of the glaciers during the last ice age. In the middle of the lake there is a large reed bed. From the bird hide many bird species can be observed, for example: tavi. tukkasotka, pikku-uikku, mustakaulauikku, taivaanvuohi, kattohaikara, harmaahaikara, isohaarahaukka, haarahaukka, rytikerttunen, västäräkki and pajusirkku.
