Description
Rudängsmyrans Våtmark is a small wetland with resting birds both in spring and autumn. The wetland lake was created in 2015 and attracts a lot of birds both in species and number, primarily ducks and waders. Among the birds you can encounter are nuolihaukka, mustakurkku-uikku, haapana, tavi, punasotka, suokukko and merikotka. But many more, see the birdlist below.

Access
The wetland is located a few km east of Borlänge not far from Islingby industrial area south of road E16. The area is reached from road 800 towards Torsång on field roads. Note: consideration must be given to working farmers in the area. The area can also be reached from the road between Alsbäck, south of the area, to Dalsjö / Ornäs. Click on the P in the map to get directions. The wetland is well overlooked from the field roads south and east of the area.
