Description

Pulken is a nature reserve by the Helge River, just west of Yngsjö. The Kurki gather here in the evening for overnight stays in March-April. It is easy to see them dancing into spring when they rest after the flight over the Baltic Sea. There is a large bird observation tower that is also an outdoor museum. Other birds you can observe include valkoposkihanhi, kanadanhanhi, töyhtöhyyppä, ristisorsa and punajalkaviklo.
