Description

Norra kvill is only a small national park and perfect for a shorter hike. Its large and plenty of fallen trees offer food, shelter and nesting oppurtunities for many birds. Birds that are at home here include woodpeckers like käpytikka, vihertikka and palokärki as well as owls like helmipöllö and varpuspöllö. Although rare pyy and metso have also been seen here.

The terrain is hilly and proper shoes and clothing is advised. There are several benches along the trails. In the middle of the park there is a forest lake.
