Description

Kroppsjön is a nature reserve that spans an area of about 105 hectares and features a shallow lake, wet meadows, deciduous forests, and grazing lands. The reserve is particularly important for birdlife, serving as a resting and breeding ground for various species, including swans and ducks. Restoration efforts have been made to maintain open water surfaces and support the ecosystem. Among the birds that you can observe are laulujoutsen, heinätavi, Luhtakana, luhtahuitti and taivaanvuohi.
