There are few trees and the landscape is comprised of large expanses of plains and pasture lands which are dry in summer. On the large extension of cereal lands it is possible to see birds such as isotrappi, pikkutrappi, niittysuohaukka, sininärhi, jouhihietakyyhky, hietakyyhky, kestrels, owls and many other birds of prey.
