Description

Depending on the season and the conditions of the river Segura, at Faro de Guardamar you can see waders, gulls, terns, cormorants, coots, ducks, herons and passerines.

Access

Faro de Guardamar is located north of the town of Guardamar de Segura near the Alfonso XIII Park and the marina. You can drive to the northern side of the Alfonso XIII Park and park there. From the parking to the mouth of the Segura River you can walk along a paved track in the Alfonso XIII Park and from there on to the breakwater. You can visit the lighthouse located at the tip of the breakwater. Click on the P in the map for directions to a parking spot. From the parking it is a 1,5 km walk to the lighthouse.
