Reservoir located 60 km north of Madrid in the foothills of the Sierra de Guadarrama. Good site for waterfowl and birds of prey.
Embalse de Pedrezuela is a big reservoir located between the villages of Guadalix and Pedrezuela. In addition to waterfowl such as Lapasorsa, punasotka, silkkiuikku, etc. that are concentrated in the waters of the reservoir, it is easy to see birds of prey such as hanhikorppikotka, munkkikorppikotka, eagles and kites. Large numbers of naurulokki and selkälokki are concentrated along its waters.

You cannot drive around the reservoir by car, but from the M608 road there are several points where you can park and access the road. The most interesting points for bird watching are usually near the tail of the reservoir and the hermitage. From the town of Guadalix and around the reservoir there is a very comfortable path that allows you to walk near the water and observe the birds that inhabit the reservoir. Both the bank that runs further north and the opposite one that approaches a hermitage can be equally interesting for exploring.
