Description

Hwajinpo Lake (화진포) is a lake near the East Sea in Goseong city. There you can watch several waterfowls, herons, birds of prey and passerines as well. Since it's near the sea, you can occasionally observe the oceanic birds in the area as well. Birders usually visit this lake when they stay in this area for a longer time, mostly for coastal birding.
