This hike is a combination of enjoying the beauty of Slovakia while also having a good chance of some typical central-European forest birds! While species such as punatulkku, pikkukäpylintu, töyhtötiainen are easy to see, with a little luck (especially on the higher elevations) specialties such as valkoselkätikka and pohjantikka reside. Perhaps through the trees you spot a pikkukiljukotka?

Access
Parking place near Hrabušice. Click on the P in the map to get directions. From there on you have an intensive 3.7 km through a narrow gorge which will get you to the top. From there on you can focus more on the birds, exploring the top and following the loop down afterwards. Only for walking.
