Description
The Mihaliesti reservoir is the largest lake in the metropolitan area of Bucharest. On the northwest side of the reservoir an interesting wetland has formed along the banks of the river Arges. Among the birds you can observe are kyhmyjoutsen, ristisorsa, sinisorsa, pikku-uikku, pitkäjalka, mustahaikara, kattohaikara and hiirihaukka.

La Ciobani is located 20 km southwest of the city center of Bucharest. Access is on the road from Clinceni to Ordoreanu village. You can park on the pier. Press P on the map for directions.
