Description

Barragem de Roxo is a reservoir in a dry environment. That attracts many different species of birds. Spring, autumn and winter are the best for a visit because in the summer it is quite warm.

Access

Barragem de Roxo is located 15 km southwest of the town of Beja. The west side of the lake is the best place. You can also park your car here. Press P on the map for directions. You can drive to the end of the dam by car, but this is a dead end road. The area is best explored on foot.
