Description
Łazienki Park is spacious and full of life. Best to visit in the morning when people are not there yet. Note that it's open from 6 am. Two pairs of lehtopöllö can be heard at night. If you ask a local birder they will be happy to show you where they spend their day. mandariinisorsa, isokoskelo and sinisorsa nest in the park. A pair of korppi breed here every year as well.
The park is known for the many woodpecker species that can be seen here. It's difficult not to see vihertikka, käpytikka and tammitikka on your visit. If you have a bit more luck you might see pikkutikka, palokärki or a syyriantikka. Various songbirds breed here, pähkinänakkeli is very common. In May and June you might spot a kirjosieppo or harmaasieppo in the part of the park where horses used to be held.

Access
Easy accessible from Warsaw. Free access. Difficult to find a parking spot sometimes. The best spot is probably near Belvedere restaurant. Park is open from 6am to 10pm. Best to explore the park on foot and take your time. The walking route shown on the map is about 4 km.
