Description

Leisurely walk in Biebrza National Park on the edge of woodland, bogs and marhsland to an observation tower. In summertime watch out for horseflies. A great diversity of birds in this area and also a great chance to spot deer.

The bird species that can be easily spotted here include kaulushaikara, mustahaikara, Kurki, jänkäkurppa, pikkukiljukotka, kiljukotka, ruskosuohaukka, niittysuohaukka, viitasirkkalintu, ruokosirkkalintu, isolepinkäinen, pensassirkkalintu, satakieli, sinirinta, luhtahuitti, ruisrääkkä and merikotka.

Access

Barwik is a 2,5 km one way walk to an observation tower (out-and-back 5 km). Along the way you also pass a bird hide. You can start the walk from the parking lot that is in an old pine forest. Press P on the map for directions to the parking.
