This wetland area with peat and quag-mires is nice during summer for jänkäkurppa, mustaviklo and other eastern wetlandbirds. Other birds you can encounter are merikotka, liro, keltavästäräkki, suopöllö, tylli, tukkasotka, sinisuohaukka and isolepinkäinen.
