Small forest area of 70 hectares near the village of Deurne. Good for forest birds like woodpeckers and various types of tits.
The forest of Walsbergse Bossen was created when the former heathland and shifting sand area was planted with conifers. There are also some deciduous trees such as oak, birch and rowan, especially on the edges. A small shifting sand remnant is still present. The forest is not very big and varied, but still there are nice birds to see like käpytikka, vihertikka, mustapääkerttu, kuusitiainen, töyhtötiainen, pyrstötiainen, pajulintu, metsäkirvinen and hippiäinen.

The forest is located on the N270, from Deurne to Venray. You can park on the Suezlaan, near the Bivakweg.
