In Poelbroekpark and the Meerwijkplas you will find lakes, reed hedges, pools, flowery grasslands and lots of birds. One of the most special birds that have been spotted is the kaulushaikara, but it's extremely rare. These birds will much easier to find: pikku-uikku, sinirinta, etelänsatakieli, Luhtakana, käki, luhtakerttunen and lehtokerttu. Other birds you can see here are Lapasorsa, harmaasorsa, haapana, sinisorsa, tavi, punapäänarsku, punasotka, tukkasotka, isokoskelo,taivaanvuohi, kuningaskalastaja, kapustahaikara and pajusirkku.
