Particularly striking are the large groups of mustapyrstökuiri that can be found in Het Weegje early in the year. The marshy forest in the area has many songbirds in summer, such as pyrstötiainen, laulurastas, silkkikerttunen, tikli , ruokokerttunen, and rytikerttunen. But also käki is often heard and seen. Vooral opvallend zijn de grote groepen mustapyrstökuiri's die al vroeg in het jaar in het gebied te vinden zijn. Het moerasbosje in het gebied heeft zomers veel zangvogels, zoals pyrstötiainen, laulurastas, silkkikerttunen, tikli, ruokokerttunen en rytikerttunen. Maar ook de käki wordt vaak gehoord en gezien. In het centrale deel bevindt zich een meer met veel steltlopers, naast de mustapyrstökuiri ook punajalkaviklo, taivaanvuohi en pikkutylli.

Accessible by car. Parking spots are available at the address Weegje 4, Waddinxveen. In the area itself one can walk on paved paths, while the side paths are unpaved.
