Description
Part of the area belongs to a public park, while the rest is private (and not well kept). Still, it is possible to walk all around the lake (around 45 minutes + birding stops). There is a roost of lehmähaikara, a feral small population of kanadanhanhi and recently some pikkumerimetso. In the last years, wintering birds have included Siskin, pajusirkku, rautiainen and pussitiainen. Other nice birds are pikkuhaikara, kuningaskalastaja and Kuhankeittäjä. During spring migration several passerine birds stop for a few days, including hernekerttu, harmaasieppo and kirjosieppo. Rarities are possible (Collared flycatcher in 2018).
On sunny weekends a lot of people visit the area, so expect disturbance.

Free parking at the entrance of the park. Easy to access (public area). Walking paths are also accessible but not so well kept in the private area.
