Description

Oasi Le Foppe is a complex of ponds surrounded by forest located in the north-eastern Milanese plain. Thanks to the constant presence of water due to the abundant spring and autumn rainfall the environment has a rich biodiversity. More than 100 bird species have been recorded. Among the birds you can encounter are varpushaukka, käpytikka, vihertikka, käenpiika, käki, lehtopöllö, silkkihaikara, lehmähaikara, mustapääkerttu, tulipäähippiäinen and keltahemppo.
