Description
A small lake where in winter you can see over 4,000 diving ducks, especially tukkasotka and punasotka, but also ruskosotka, lapasotka, punapäänarsku, kaulushaikara, aroharmaalokki. A few dabbling ducks are present too. A large roost of merimetso is present and recently pikkumerimetso is often here.
In spring ruskohaikara, pikkuhaikara and merimetso usually breed here. kauluskaija is common too.
Rarities: amerikantukkasotka, kuparisorsa, uivelo, alli, tundrametsähanhi and tundrahanhi.
