Description

Tolfaccia hill and Freddara wood in the Monti della Tolfa (Tolfa hills) are a great spot for observing isohaarahaukka. In the open grassland among the coppice woods it is also common to see haarahaukka, käärmekotka, Mehiläishaukka, Paksujalka and many other species.

It is possible to reach Tolfaccia hill by car. Click on the P in the map for directions. The best way to explore the site is continuing on foot towards Freddara wood.
