Watch the suula diving for food. Or the many other birds.
Laxey Beach is situated on the east coast on Isle of Man. It has a pebble and sand beach, which gets progressively sandier the closer you go to the low-water mark. The beach sits in the picturesque Laxey Bay. It is bordered by cliffs to the south and by the harbour breakwaters to the north. Have a stroll along Laxey beach or walk the harbour. Look out into the bay and see the suula feeding. Also look for kuovi , riskilä, muuttohaukka, and many more birds.
Park in the village or by the harbour. Access to Laxey Beach is easy by bus, car or using the Manx Electric Railway which has a main station just a few minutes walk from the beach.
