Description
The road towards Makara is a great route to search for many typical inland breeding species that inhabit the drier parts of the island, like vuoripyy, rusotasku and kallionakkeli. The rocky outcrops are a great spot for sinirastas and ruostekurkkusirkku. The small scattered bushes are good for migrating pensastasku, kivitasku and mustapäätasku.
Further down the road, the road lies adjacent to a shallow valley with scattered trees, and several small groves. These areas are great for migrants, like mehiläissyöjä, harjalintu, shrikes, warblers, swallows, swifts and flycatchers.
