Description

Just south of Sigri beach, another part of the Petrified Forest park is located, called Plaka Park. Besides worth visiting to admire several huge fossilized tree trunks, the area is also home to several typical rocky landscape species, like vuoripyy, rusotasku and ruostekurkkusirkku. Somewhere in the area, pikkutuulihaukka breeds and can be seen here often.

The park also offers a great view over the sea, and large flocks of idänpikkuliitäjä can be observed.
