Description

The Korakas headland provides some great spots for arriving migrants during autumn migration; especially the olive groves on this side of the headland. These groves can be packed with mixed flocks of migrants, like leppälintu, kirjosieppo, harmaasieppo and many species of warblers. The area is also used by pähkinänakkeli during the breeding season, and lots of tammitikka can be found here too.

Some parts of the track provide a great view over the strait towards Turkey, so scan the skies for migrating raptors, storks, swifts and hirundines.
