Description
Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and rusotasku. Birds of prey include tuulihaukka, pikkutuulihaukka (especially at the acropolis), kyläpöllönen and arohiirihaukka. Other birds you can encounter are rääkkähaikara, Paksujalka, punapäälepinkäinen, ruostepääsky and pikkusirri.

Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
