Surrounding the chapel of Agias Konstantinos and Eleni, there are several groves which can be a migrant trap during spring migration.
The chapel of Agias Konstantinos and Eleni is located near the village of Eresos on the eastern side of Meladia valley. It's surrounded by several groves, which can be a great migrant trap during spring migration. Everything can show up in these groves, like flycatchers, warblers, Kuhankeittäjä, turturikyyhky and so much more. Locally, balkanintiainen breeds here.
The surrounding hills are great for inland species, like ruostekurkkusirkku and keltapääsirkku.
You can park your car near the chapel and walk around the area. Click on the P in the map for directions.
