Description
Just southwest of Parakila, the Agios Ioannis chapel is located. The chapel lies within a scrubby and rocky gulley, and provides a great breeding habitat for species like etelänsatakieli, balkanintiainen, ruostekurkkusirkku and, especially, keltapääsirkku. This last species can be found on the higher parts of the area.
The ridges above the gulley are good for (sometimes small flocks of) falcons, like välimerenhaukka, pikkutuulihaukka and punajalkahaukka.
