Description
The Fish Ponds offer a nice walk between the ponds. Much of the ponds are shielded by reedbeds with viiksitimali and pussitiainen and other reedbed birds. The hides offer a look onto the water, where you might see tavi, tukkasotka, ruskosotka , silkkiuikku etc. Often there are merikotka in the trees around the ponds. There is a huge resting area for migrating Kurki just behind the ponds. That area is off limits, but huge amounts of Kurki flies over the ponds at the right time in autumn.
