Description

The approximately six-hectare water surface of the Jacobiweiher is a popular destination for many Frankfurt residents and is home to numerous birds. Many water birds are regular visitors here. The 2,5 km circular path and a bridge allow you to get to the animals relatively close.

Access

The Jacobiweiher is located in the southern part of the city of Frankfurt in the Frankfurter Stadtwald (Frankfurt City Forest). The area is easily accessible and there is a parking lot. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. Public Transport: Take tram line 14 to the "Oberschweinstiege" stop (marked with 1 on the map). From there, follow the signs to the Jacobiweiher, which is about a 200-meter walk. The Jacobiweiher is easy to explore on foot.
