Description
The Herrenteich attracts various waders (pikkutylli, valkoviklo, mustaviklo, liro, metsäviklo, taivaanvuohi), especially during migration times. These birds are less common regionally. You can often see the kuningaskalastaja, virtavästäräkki, haarahaukka, isohaarahaukka and various ducks and geese. From time to time mustahaikara, varpushaukka, kanahaukka are flying over. Now and then, sääksi (kalasääski), ruskosuohaukka, and nuolihaukka can also be seen.
The area can be seen from two sides and the footbridges can be walked on. One side of the lake is overgrown with trees. Another is covered with reeds.
