Description
Grippel is a village in Lower Saxony and lies on the river Elbe. Next to the village lies the Grippeler See, a wetland where you can see many birds. Between Grippel and village of Langendorf there is also an observation tower. This is in the three-country triangle: Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Brandenburg. If you climb the tower, you get a wonderful view over the Elbe. Among the birds you can see are kattohaikara, mustahaikara, isohaarahaukka, haarahaukka, Kurki, harmaahaikara, jalohaikara and many ducks, geese and other water birds.
