The area of a former french military airport Flugplatz Bremgarten consists of meadows and small forests and holds some of the scarcer breeding birds of the region, notably Kuhankeittäjä, harmaasirkku, taiturikultarinta and turturikyyhky. In spring and autumn the area is good for migrating and resting raptors (e.g. harriers, sometimes punajalkahaukka) and passerines (e.g. kivitasku, pensastasku).
