Description
The Baddeckenstedt Teiche are ponds that are located in the nature reserve Mittleres Innerstetal, about 6 km east of the Derneburg ponds. Numerous waterfowl breed here, including around 15 pairs of pikku-uikku , 1-2 pairs of mustakaulauikku and, for the first time in 2010, a pair of härkälintu. Occasionally, silkkiuikku also breed. In addition to sinisorsa and kyhmyjoutsen, tukkasotka, punasotka and harmaasorsa are at home here.
