Description
A small local nature area in which a circular walk takes you along some pastures and pinewoods. These areas surround the Lippe River, which flows through the area. The pastures are good for species like kattohaikara and töyhtöhyyppä. The forests are good for common species of songbird, like mustapääkerttu and harmaasieppo. In winter, the forests are great for finches, like punatulkku, and hippiäinen.
The river itself is a great spot to observe koskikara. Another highlight of the eary happens in early summer, when Fireflies can be observed here.
