This site is a slag heap, the highest of Europe and listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. A great place to see sepelrastas.
It is a black moutain made up mainly of stones (shales). You can observ at 360 degree from the top. It is a major place to observe sepelrastas in spring migration. And a surprising lot of many other birds.
It is possibly to access by car near the site where you can park just above. You can access by train and bus from train station to Lens. The site itself, you can access by walking or cycling.
