Charming village in the north of the Cote Mâconnaise, the site offers a beautiful diversity of habitats for local fauna.
The Montceaux-Ragny site is made up of limestone grasslands where you find typical bird species such as kehrääjä, pensassirkku, kangaskiuru and serves as a feeding area for käärmekotka. In hedges and woodlands you can find turturikyyhky, pikkutikka or even palokärki. Finally in the village you can observe leppälintu, harjalintu, minervanpöllö and more rarely kyläpöllönen.

Le site est constitué de pelouses calcaires où l'on retrouve des espèces typiques comme l' kehrääjä, le pensassirkku , l' kangaskiuru et sert de zone d'alimentation pour le käärmekotka. Dans les haies et les boisements on retrouve la turturikyyhky , le pikkutikka ou encore le palokärki. Enfin dans le village on peut observer le leppälintu , la harjalintu , minervanpöllö ou plus rarement le kyläpöllönen.
