The lake and surroundings of Etang de Saint-Aubin offer a lot of different habitats. Among the birds you can encounter are sinisorsa, isokoskelo, merimetso, harmaahaikara, silkkihaikara, jalohaikara, Liejukana, nokikana, hiirihaukka, tuulihaukka, mustapäätasku etc..
