Étang de Boué served as a reservoir for the Sambre-Oise canal. Today, a trail offers a view of the surrounding nature. Among the birds you can observe are common birds such as harmaahaikara, nokikana, sinisorsa and Liejukana, but sometomes also less common birds such as avosetti, pikkutylli, kuningaskalastaja and töyhtöhyyppä.
