This large pond is home to nice nesting species as punapäänarsku, punasotka, tukkasotka, harmaasorsa, ruokokerttunen, ruskohaikara. In the surrounding bocage, pikkulepinkäinen, kangaskiuru,niittysuohaukka are also nesting.
In winter, the pond can be hosting tavi, punasotka, tukkasotka, haapana and several vagrants. The place is also really great in times of migration with lots of passerines in the hedgerows and waterfowl on the pond.
