Description

In the heart of the Plaine du Forez on the banks of the Loire lies the Ecopôle du Forez. A great place for birdwatching. Old gravel pits converted into ponds and alluvial forest with trails and hides. There are 5 hides and also a natural reserve exhibition. Guided tours are available. Birds you can see here are Kuhankeittäjä, kuningaskalastaja, silkkihaikara, haarahaukka, räystäspääsky, törmäpääsky, tavi, punapäänarsku, Lapasorsa and punasotka.
