A fantastic stretch of lagoons and saltmarshes with numerous bird species and a joy to cycle along this trail to watch birds.
This sea embankment stretches from Saintes Maries-de-la-Mer to Salin-de-Giraud and crosses the southern sector of the Camargue Nature Reserve. It offers 20 km of foot and cycle paths from which you can discover the wild open spaces of the lagoons and saltmarshes. The track across the embankment is open throughout the year. It is strictly forbidden to leave the track and venture onto the dunes, even on foot. So please respect this!
