Small park with a pond in the middle.
Ilveskorvenpuisto is a nice and accessible place for casual urban birding. The pond attracts a variety of duck species in summer and it's possible to see their young there too. You can see sinisorsa, tavi and isokoskelo. As the summer progresses, some birds make nests on the small island in the middle of the pond. kalalokki and naurulokki are common but sometimes it's possible to see merilokki too. Liejukana has been seen at the pond in spring time too and the surrounding bushes provide hiding places for punarinta.
You can get here by walking, cycling or by car. There's a parking place closeby.
