Description
Dubový Rybník is a shallow pond where rare birds like merikotka or sääksi (kalasääski) sometimes show up. Among the breeding birds are ruskosuohaukka, taivaanvuohi, rastaskerttunen and harmaahaikara. In February and March, when they arrive from wintering grounds there is a chance to see Kurki. Focus your binoculars on the reed beds and surrounding meadows to find them. All year round you can watch the hunting efforts of the kuningaskalastaja or harmaahaikara on the pond.
