Description
Largest Bulgarian natural lake, surrounded by asphalt roads and with easy access at most of the banks. Northern bank is one of the best places to see valkopääsorsa and kaulushaikara in winter time, but also big variety of waterfowl, including punakaulahanhi, uivelo, punasotka, telkkä and other. During migration enormous flocks of pelikaani can be observed, together with the three species of 'marsh' terns, herons and egrets, and other. In summer time pikkuhaikara, silkkikerttunen, pussitiainen and other passerines possible.

Access
You have to get to Krayezerna roundabout (Burgas industrial zone) and turn to the West, where there are suitable places to park close to the northern bank of the lake. Then walk to the places where birds in the lake are visible from. Very productive site can be the bank close to the water treatment plant.
