Description
During the spring and autumn migration periods, many wetland birds pass through Yerevan Lake, including various ducks such as Lapasorsa, ruskosotka, and others, as well as waders like pikkutylli and pitkäjalka. Additionally, the migration routes of some birds of prey, such as haarahaukka and Mehiläishaukka, pass through the lake. In summer silkkiuikku, nokikana, rastaskerttunen, ruokosirkkalintu and others nest here. In winter, the lake becomes a refuge for tavi and naurulokki.
